About Us
We are a Los Angeles based municipal financing firm built by people who understand both public budgets and capital markets.
California public agencies approve billions of dollars in capital projects every year. Grants are won. Boards vote yes. Vendors are selected. Then the real problem hits: the money is not in hand when the vendor needs a deposit, and the budget does not have room for a cash purchase.
District Bridge Capital exists to close that space. We arrange tax-exempt lease-purchase financing so districts can say yes to the equipment their communities need without waiting for the full grant reimbursement or draining the general fund.
We are not a bank. We are a correspondent: we design the structure, prepare the documents, and place the deal with one of our funding partners who specialize in public agency paper. Our role is to make the financing invisible to the district so they can focus on what matters: serving their community.
Trevor founded District Bridge Capital after more than a decade in Southern California commercial real estate finance and debt origination. He has built relationships with banks, credit unions, and specialty capital providers throughout California.
He directs the firm’s capital relationships, transaction structuring, and strategy, with an initial focus on practical equipment financing for California schools and public agencies.
Before founding DBC, Trevor originated and structured more than $100 million in aggregate commercial loan volume across multifamily, industrial, and specialty asset classes.
California has more school districts, cities, and special districts than any other state. The financing need is enormous and growing.
HVIP, EPA Clean School Bus, and Prop 39 have created a pipeline of approved projects that need bridge financing.
California appropriations law, prevailing wage rules, and environmental standards require a partner who knows the terrain.
Most structures can be quoted in 48 hours and close in 2 to 4 weeks. We move at the speed of public agency procurement.
Whether you are a district, a vendor, or a funding partner, we would love to hear what you are building.
